With its attractive price, the ECO Scanner is the first and only plug & play scanner to define a new category on the market and, as a pure brightfield application, has a truly unique position.

Its innovative design makes it possible. The ECO Scanner can be easily integrated into existing and new production lines - whether vertical or horizontal! Since no gap is required in the production line and installation instructions are available, the customer can easily assemble the ECO Scanner themselves. As a customer, all you have to do in advance is to ensure that the construction for mounting the camera and illumination module is adapted to the production line. Viprotron provides drawings for this. Of course, Viprotron also delivers the complete package, if wanted.

Due to the very high level of standardization of the ECO Scanner and thanks to its revolutionary functional principle, a price level Scanner has become achievable that is significantly below that of the modular Quality. The ECO Scanner also offers an ideal solution for divided productions with several washing machines that do not allow central inspection of glasses. Because of its low price, it is possible to use several devices at the same time - and that with a total investment that quickly pays off.

Glass quality control with superior performance

With the Quality Scanner 3D you automate the monitoring of your glass quality at the highest level. The extremely effective quality control system with up to three different camera/illumination arrangements (brightfield, darkfield and reflection channel) is integrated directly after the washing machine in order to rule out pseudo errors. Each individual channel is focusing on specific types of defects, which are optically detected differently. The data comparison of the three channels enables a level of accuracy in defect classification that cannot be achieved with single-channel systems.

Even if manufacturers have continuously optimized their furnaces in the past, the measurement of waviness and edge kink remains of central importance. The need to drive the furnaces to their limits for productivity reasons involves the risk that they are sometimes easily exceeded. This then leads to loss of quality. However, in order not to exceed the limits as far as possible, suitable tools are required. This applies in particular to rollerwaves in the glass caused by the furnace, which not only cause optical distortions in the end product, but also later problems with possible further processing into laminated or insulating glass. The Temper Scanner 5D helps you to optimize your product quality with this new function of rollerwave inspection and all the previously known channels that were already available to you behind the furnace.
